Mom's Group Special

Improved Field Trips
Teachers and PTA parents, bring your class to the Community Children’s Museum to experience our newly expanded field trip adventures that align with the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards in any subject area you choose from pre-k through 4th grade. Take your trip before October 15th and get a 10% group discount. Our adventures focus on art in Vincent van Gogh’s bedroom, electricity at our Electricity Without Shock lab, space science and the solar system at our full scale space capsule, world cultures at our Homes Around the World exhibit where they can visit the homes of India, Switzerland and Colombia to see how climate influences a culture. There is also a special pre-k area where young children can explore a lake house environment. Combine a trip to County College of Morris' Planetarium and get a discount on your Children's Museum admission for each student.
CLEANING?.....HELP THE MUSEUM!
Are you spring cleaning? Haven't decided what to do with all your unwanted stuff? Well here's a solution: Donate your items to the Community Children's Museum. We will sell them on Ebay and you get a tax deduction for the final selling price of the item(s). It's better than garage sale prices and a nice tax break. And you help support the museum provide a safe, fun, interactive and educational place for our children! It's simple:
- Find item(s) worth $25 or more.
- Take a digital photo; preferably 2 or 3 shots from
different angles; highlighting any imperfections. Close-ups are helpful to the buyer.
- Write a short description of the item(s).
- Include brand name, model number, new or approx. age of item,
distinguishing characteristics, etc.
- Large items such as furniture will be listed as a pick-up
from your home or office.
- Email pictures and descriptions to: givethruebay@yahoo.com
- Give the value of the item and the approximate size and weight
- Include your contact information
If it is not possible for you to take your own digital pictures indicate that in your email and we can make other arrangements with you.
