Private Parties and other Museum Rentals

Looking for a unique setting for your next meeting or family event? You can rent the entire museum for your private party, baby shower, group function or holiday party. Our staff is ready to help make your party a special event.

We provide:

• Full use of Museum facilities for your guests
• Storage of party goods including use of refrigerator/freezer
• A staff person to assist you with set up and clean up,
  as well as general supervision and help throughout the party

You need to bring:

• Refreshments and paper products and decorations.

Some simple Museum rules:

• No running
• Food and beverages allowed only in party room
• Be gentle with exhibits

Party rules (please read carefully):

Please carefully supervise children at all times. Hosts are responsible for the behavior and safety of children and any damages to Museum exhibits. No children are allowed to a party where there will be alcohol served. A security deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking. Your security deposit will be returned to you, as long as there are no damages, within seven days of your party.

The museum will not be responsible for any damage or injury which may be sustained by the host or any other person as a consequence of rental use of the museum. Host agrees to indemnify and hold harmless museum from all costs and expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees which may arise as a result of hosts use of the museum.

• Prior to use of the museum, host must provide proof of adequate liability insurance.
• No smoking allowed anywhere on Museum property.
  Museum use is limited to invited guests. No fees may be charged
  for admission.
• No decorations affixed to walls, ceilings or light fixtures.
  Additional fee of $10 will be charged for each 1/2 hour or fraction
  thereof for parties extending beyond the agreed upon time.
• Maximum of 150 people

Fees:

For Non Profit Organizations $700 for 4 hours for up to 100 people
Individuals/For-profit organizations $1,000 for 4 hours up to 100 people
