The Community Children's Museum brings our exciting hands on programs to your venue: school assemblies, classrooms, afterschool programs, libraries, community events and more.
The Space Exploration Workshops are an outreach program offering dynamic presentations that involve and excite children's curiosity about space exploration and the science behind it. Our "Astronaut", wearing a NASA Apollo Space Suit Replica, will get the children's attention and keep it with a variety of hands on experiments and games.
Homes Around The World Workshops - The Community Children's Museum now offers a series of workshops and activities on world cultures for in-school visits and World Festival Days. Outreach workshops are based on the museum's popular "Homes Around the World" exhibit, a hands-on space featuring homes in Switzerland, Colombia and India. Activities show how geography and climates influence a countries' culture, including food, ways of life and homes and what they are made of.
